Why you cannot see something
Not every guest is asked to every part of the day.
Couples can say that part of the day is only for some people — a rehearsal dinner, or the evening. If you cannot see something a friend can, that is usually why, and it is deliberate rather than a fault.
If you think you should have been asked, the couple is the only one who can change it.
